Temporary Access for large addition in Toronto
This was a more elaborate temporary stair built with a coworker by request of a site super. A simple calculation of my total rise, divided by a targeted 7″ gave me something like 26.879 risers. Rounded that up to 7 risers. Knowing my top riser delivers me up to ground level, I know I’ve got 26 treads. Using 10.5″ for tread depth, I know how to mark out the LVL stringers.
A temporary platform was also requested for ease of access over recently excavated terrain.
Without a doubt, the most expensive “temporary” stair I’ve ever constructed.
